Cut Your Wolf Loose is Brighton's favourite whisky bar, repeatedly praised for its huge whisky and bourbon selection, knowledgeable and friendly staff (Hugo gets a specific shoutout), and excellent cocktails even for non-whisky drinkers. It's quiet and intimate on weekday evenings, good for dates or solo visits, does decent sober options, and occasionally runs a jazz night.

- A dram and a chat, even solo
- Heads up
- It's whisky-focused, not a traditional pub

Black dove - does amazing cocktails and is a very cool pub/ bar in kemptown. Plotting Parlour - someone else has said, great drinks but not always easy to get in unless you book Plateau - again someone has said. Yummy little plates and great food and drinks Cut your Wolf Loose - this is mainly whisky but do amazing cocktails and just general a cool place to be in Enjoy!
…are great at this cause you can just list some things that you want and they will whip you up something custom Gung-ho even though their whole USP is sustainability and food that is seasonal they have a pretty awesome mocktail menu that changes frequently similarly Apiary Cut your wolf loose even though they are known for their whiskey tasting etc... have some great sober drink options and a bit more of a grungey cool feel Personally think that Brewdog does a decent non-alcoholic beer but tbh almost all the bars in brighton do It's a shame about Torisgbar but I do think…
If you like Whiskey I recommended "Cut Your Wolf Loose" - they have proper sommeliers that will make you feel quite important and you can try a lot of small glasses of whiskey. I went once on a date, didn't end up liking whiskey but I enjoyed the vibe!
…are nice and have counter seating which I always think is perfect if your solo otherwise papa dumpling at the golden pineapple or blossoms cover both your small plates and cocktails Other nice cocktail places which I have been on my own and always found to be welcoming - cut your wolf loose (whiskey based) archives (cafe/cocktail bar offering no and low options as well as standard) or 10 green bottles (good for wine predominantly but also do a nice cocktail) My favourite cafe/brunch places would be moksha, garden cafe, going nowhere man or permit room. Other cool places - Vine…
