Rated highly for its enclosed off-lead dog area, paddling pool and playground, plus LAZ Cafe serving cheap pasta and pizza. It's also home to DIY Pride, a free grassroots alternative to the main Pride events, though one commenter reported an incident of indecent exposure there late at night.

What locals say
LAZ Cafe in Saunders Park. Dudes down there, even middle of December, serving up pasta, bolognese, pizzas for cheap, and they taste great.
Try some of the other playgrounds - Saunders Park near Vogue Gyratory has a paddling pool, Hove Park play area is pretty good, there’s a fairly new play park at Stanmer Park (and a decent walk round there too). Hove Lagoon obviously (hopefully they’ve sorted the paddling pool there now). There’s a nice playpark over the road from the Booth Museum too.…
There is a non-corporate grassroots Pride alternative that set up each year in Saunders Park called DIY Pride, check them out. They're a sober space by community for community that excludes cops, corporations, and drunk straight people who want to ogle some queers then go back to not pissing on us if we're on fire for the other 364 days of the year, basically the opposite of the city centre!
This is peak Lewes Road, About a month ago I was walking past Saunders Park about 3am and saw a guy having a wank.
