IMO Coffee at 33 and Triple Point have the best coffee. 33 has the advantage of very good cakes, too. Some other places aren't quite as great coffee wise, but better atmosphere, e.g. Bread and Milk. Komodo is very decent. I think anywhere that offers different speciality beans and plays around with different methods (e.g. pourover) is going to be solid. Black Mocha does a good lunch deal for five quid. They have good coffee too. Bread & Milk on Trafalgar st have great sandwiches. Coffee Tzar also have some solid choices. Love Fit Cafe is also pretty good it's a bit further up on the corner of queen st. Cornish Pasty shop is always good. If you go between 5 and 6pm you can pick up 2-for-1 pasties and have lunch for two days!
