Redditors consistently praise the Fountain Head for its Boysterous Burgers pop-up and fully vegan Halo Burger menu, rated even by meat-eaters over the real thing. It's family-friendly during the day, has an open fire, and hosts community meetups, though one local warns the music gets played too loud.

My info is a few years old hence may now be wrong... 1. Fountain Head, bottom of North Road. 2. Prince Albert, top of Trafalgar Street. 3. Ranelagh, corner of St James's Street and High Street. 4. Saint James, corner of St James's Street and Madeira Place.
The Fountain Head on North Road has an RSPB badge box. (Not one of my fave pubs mind you, they play music far too loud).
