A beloved local institution on Western Road, named again and again as Brighton's best Lebanese/Turkish food, especially the lamb shawarma and hummus. Portions are huge and good value (around £20 a head sharing starters), and it delivers reliably on Deliveroo.

I’m sorry my friend, I’m not sure about specifically Iraqi food. But there is a very nice Lebanese place called Kambi’s on Western Road. My Iraqi friend says it’s very nice and reminds her of Iraqi food :)
Rotana in Preston Road and Kambis on Western Road area good for middle eastern food. Eastern Eye on London Road for Indian - dosa are particularly good. All turkish restaurants are halal. Don't forget the vegetarian restaurants in Brighton, many are excellent.
Used to be Kambis lamb shawarma wrap, but last couple of times I've had it it's not been up to standard. Pizzaface is the other go-to. Jakub is normally the order.
