What locals say

Good luck on your new adventure! My friend hosts the LGBTQ+ events at Dice Saloon, very casual board game vibes with loads of very lovely queer folk. A great spot if you wanna socialise but not drinking inclined and a great place to meet new friends.

My favourite place to hang out is The Actor's, which is a popular pub that lots of trans folk I know go to. The dice saloon is another favourite, it's nice to play board games and reasonably priced. Depending on the day you come here it could be worth checking out some of the trans community and activity groups too.

…and narrow (if I lapse I'll get the shakes and I won't be able to paint or use hobby tools correctly). Heading on for 6 years now sober. I have spent a lot of money on space marines - but a hell of a lot less than I spent on getting pissed or high. Get yourself down to the dice saloon on London Rd and see if anything takes your fancy.

Dice saloon is a good shout if you're interested in any board games or role playing like DND or Warhammer etc. Basically all things "geeky". Everyone is super friendly and happy to share their knowledge and passion! Complete mix of people…
