Regularly named one of Brighton's most beautiful and overlooked spots, with locals loving the walled garden, magnolias and a secluded garden reachable from Preston Park for reading or relaxing. It has a strong haunted reputation (former staff describe unnerving experiences closing up), runs ghost tours and seasonal events like pumpkin picking, and recently reopened with a new café overlooking the park.
