A small basement gig venue known for cheap 2-for-1 happy hour cocktails (£8 for two, 4-7pm daily) and a packed calendar of bands, DJs and club nights drawing a mixed, diverse crowd. It's a mainstay of the alternative/queer-friendly live scene alongside Green Door Store, Hope and Ruin and Prince Albert, though the tiny basement means chatty crowds can spoil quieter acoustic sets.

…to Rottingdean which is very quaint. You can get the Volks railway up to Black Rock if going to the marina. If you wanted a night out that’s reasonable price-wise, Alphabet Brighton and Green Door Store often have good stuff on. You can get 2 for 1 happy hour cocktails at the Rossi bar. Have fun!

If you have Facebook or Instagram gave these places and organisations a follow The Pipeline The Green Door Store (does lot of free gigs so keep an eye out) The Hope And Ruin Rossi Bar The Prince Albert Chalk (it's where the "bigger" bands tend to play occasionally) The above are my go to venues in Brighton. Some of them do a wider range of music but very often host metal themed gigs Apocalypse (alt metal party once a month near the seafront, seriously good fun) Brighton Metal People…
