Repeatedly named among Brighton's best burgers, with the pastrami burger and 'The Sweet One' both singled out, plus a well-regarded meat platter and Sunday roast near the West Pier. It's on the pricier side, and note it's a separate venue from Coal Shed despite the similar name.
- Go for
- Burgers, meat platters, and a seafront Sunday roast
- Heads up
- Mega pricey for a burger and platter spot

The Salt Shed by the Dome is amazing, a little less fancy pants compared to places like the Coal Shed but a nice place. Flat Iron wasn't too bad either, not as good as the Salt Shed imo but you get free popcorn and ice cream. Swings and Roundabouts.
Salt Shed opposite the Corn Exchange, best pastrami burger I've eaten and the meat is top quality. On special occasions we go for the 3 meat platter and side of skin-on chips with cheese fondue and bacon salt & chives. https://www.salt-shed.co.uk/brighton PS. I'm not affiliated but I go there once a…
Salt Shed and Flat Iron are both good options and ones I have had plenty of. Heard good things about Kindling. Coal Shed isn’t the most popular on this sub and I have never been personally but everyone I know who has been absolutely raves about it so they must be doing something right.
Salt Shed on Church Street is DEFINITELY one to watch out for, especially if you're carnists. They salt and smoke their meats in-house and it's fucking delicious stuff. Relatively new on the scene but they have a lot going for them.
