A North Laine institution in Kensington Gardens that Redditors send every visitor to, from Pride weekend tourists to elderly relatives — described as a fun flea market crammed with vintage, antique and nerdy collectible stalls (Doctor Who, Star Wars). Regulars say it's easy to lose 45 minutes browsing, though a couple of comments note it can feel overwhelming.

What locals say

Spend a morning looking at the jewellery and watches in the lanes. Go round the Pavilion and have tea on the terrace. Walk along the Pier and eat warm doughnuts. Definitely get Fish and Chips on the seafront. Mooch about the North Lanes and check out Snoopers Paradise. Have a coffee and play Marry Shag Cliff with passerbys there's great people watching in Brighton.

…avoid chain places like Starbucks, you’ll find 10 other independent cafes within a 10 minute walk. Same with food. There are so many options it’s almost better to just wander and look for a vibe you’re into. Western Road - East Street - North Laine. Good to walk through. Snoopers Paradise. North Laine Bazaar are cool. Royal Pavilion gardens for a sit down. …I was constantly walking on eggshells. I moved to Brighton on my own after a breakup and it’s such a great city for exploring! I’d recommend checking out the shops in both the North Laines and the Laines, there’s lots of really interesting things to look at - particularly Snoopers Paradise and the like! There might be a good show on at Komedia or Chalk or Concorde 2 that you can go see. There’s also a small cinema if you wanted to go see a film. If you want to treat yourself to a nice lunch I’d recommend O’Shio - it’s a great place to dine solo! Normally I’d recommend visiting the…

Yeah Sydney St is the start of the lanes and TBWA is on there plus the next road down on Kensington Gardens. I think you mean Snoopers Paradise which is really not great for clothes as they basically only have a small rail.
