Widely loved as one of Hove's best parks, good for birdwatching (nuthatches, great spotted woodpeckers), children's playgrounds, and a well-regarded on-site cafe that even caters weddings and does a good sausage roll. It links through to the Seven Dials area for restaurants, and is generally seen as a peaceful spot, though one Redditor who lived in a tent there for a period reported it being slashed.

…:) \- From the Marina there's the Undercliff walk - nice sea view. There's no major inclines - toilets are en route and there's a cafe too. ASDA supermarket for supplies prior to the walk! \- Going the other way, toward Hove - the lawns, Beach Huts are fairly relaxed \- St Ann’s Well Gardens is a bit of a walk away from the seafront, but is a nice spot, leading you into the Seven Dials area for some restaurants/cafes ARTS: \- There are some independent artists and galleries near the pier, along the seafront (if facing the pier entrance, head right and down the ramp) GENERAL…
Centrally I suggest St Ann's Well Gardens. It probably has the best selection of common birds in the city. I saw a nuthatch there last year and you might see a great spotted woodpecker too. Shoreham and the Adur River are the best local bets for more wild birds. You can get a bus to Shoreham and then walk along the river to Bramber,…
Haave you been to St Ann’s Well gardens in Hove? It’s lovely. Also, there is the 77 bus which goes up to Devil’s Dyke.
As someone who lived in a tent in St Ann's Well gardens... It does kinda suck. I was quiet, clean, and respectful, and fortunately I didn't get much trouble I did come back one night to find it slashed to pieces though.
