Redditors rave about the beginners' volleyball classes and friendly, sociable crowd here, plus the sandpit and smoothies that keep kids entertained. It's a popular way to meet people in their 20s-30s, though a couple of commenters warn it can be pricey with slow service, and courts book up fast.

…Knoyle Hall, near Preston Park in terms of activities, the rest has already been mentioned - Donchevi in Worthing is a great place for food, also there are several great Turkish places in Brighton I've been to. A few of the Bulgarians I know used to play beach volleyball at Yellowave in the past, there's lots of foreigners there in general, great social activity. I don't really hang out with Bulgarians here much, but I'll be happy to establish some contact, if possible :)

…works out cheaper for going on rides. Plus there are lots of seagulls to get up close to :0) Playgrounds - both Queens Park and The Level have a few sections suitable for older kids; at this time of year The Level also has water fountains to play in from about 10am onwards Yellowave - you can take the electric Volks railway or walk to Yellowave, buy a smoothie or two and sit and use the sandpit on a warm day. :0) Hope you have fun!…

Beach volleyball at Yellowave 😍You don’t need to be super good, it’s full of amazing people, all ages but definitely lots in their 30s. Some are serious about it but most are there for the same reason; making friends, getting exercise & being outdoors. I know quite a few climbers who play & coincidentally many of my friends either…

I would agree with the person above who suggested Loading Bar - but ring ahead and book a console - or you could try Yellowave if it is sunny - but it’s fairly pricey and the service is notoriously slow. There is definitely a gap in the market!
