A consistently praised burger spot with branches around Hove/Portslade, rated as good or better than well-known rivals like Burger Brothers and Troll Burger. Redditors love the Palma burger and rosemary garlic mayo chips, note patties are cooked tender and juicy without being overpriced, and say it's great for a summer beach stroll or curing a hangover.

What locals say
Joe's burger house in Hove is pretty underrated. They aren't overly expensive and they generally don't over cook their patties so that they are tender and juicy. In fact, I might have to go and have one now I am thinking about it..
Joe’s Burger House is great - especially in the summer when you can stroll down to the beach to eat it. If we’re getting nostalgic, my heart will always be with Troll Burger, sadly no longer operating.
Kambis - chicken shish wrap Pho - chicken wings, pork spring rolls, spicy prawn pho Joes burger house - Palma burger, rosemary garlic mayo, chips Madame Eat - Chili basil beef China Garden - looove the black bean beef with peppers Mixto - the sushi salmon taco is life…
Chuckaburger on Portland Road always smell tremendous whenever I cycle past during the week and they get good reviews. I also rate Joe's Burger house on Boundary Road in Portslade.
