Widely named the best chippy in Brighton, praised for traditional cod, haddock, rock and battered sausage, plus a surprisingly good vegan 'fish'. Handy for grabbing a takeaway on the way down to the beach or pier. One recent regular flagged slow service, with a half-hour wait for food and some specials running out.

What locals say
Little Jack fullers on St James Street has always been pretty dam good for me tbh... Might be as I'm local to it, but it's also just decent food, they do run out of some specialty stuff but that's because they get what they can from fish markets so its limited.. But for the normal cod/haddock/ rock and Sausages etc…
Best in the city is Bardsley’s on Baker Street, or Little Jack Fuller’s on St James’s Street. If you want to take some the beach, Little Jack is a good option!
Little Jack fullers on St James Street is the only chippy worth visiting in Brighton. Wolfies is decent if you’re in hove.
Little Jack Fullers is great food but I’ve found the service to be pretty bad the last few times I’ve been there. I know they cook most things to order but there’s a short wait and there’s waiting nearly half an hour for a battered sausage and chips (and constantly being told it’s just coming…) I’ve sort of given up…
