Repeatedly called the best pizza in Brighton, vegan or not — one Redditor says omnivores can't tell it's plant-based. Good gluten-free base and sides options too, and works for a casual lunch, dinner or takeaway.

What locals say

Gonna echo the comments already but as a vegan chef I totally second a lot of these suggestions. Here's my recs: Bonsai plant kitchen Purezza is an absolute must Oowee (their chicken burgers and dirty fries are absolutely insane. Best I've had - vegan or not) Sunbeds Deli do some really cool stuff like vegan scotch eggs and pork pies Botanique in Hove for something really special. Never fails to impress tbh. I still think about their Leek…

If Kemptown counts as walking distance you have heaps. I would say Purezza is a good cross between restaurant and fast food. Boom burger is good too with some vegan options. But even the Wetherspoons in the marina has beyond meat burgers. I don't think you'll have a problem.

Im probably going to get crucified but I wasn’t a fan of Purezza Pizza. For a vegan, that pizza is probably the best you’ll get and appreciate that it deserves a place in Brighton, for a non-vegan pizza lover however, it felt miles off so many other pizzerias in the city. I was a bit miffed that they tried to get us to review it highly on google as well.
