A firm favourite for brunch and dinner on Trafalgar Street, with locals singling out the bread, poached eggs and French toast, and saying they've never had a bad meal there. Also does good-value coffee for a couple of quid, and is rated as one of the better spots for a quiet business dinner or date night.

Ouef if you want something a little fancier. Recommendation, the Frumpets. Moksha for classic brunch stuff. Recommendation, the ham hock eggs Benedict. Cafe Rust for a great croque Monsieur and a cake. Mange Tout for great food in a nice environment. Recommendation, the eggs mange Tout I think it's called Nowhere Man for fucking great pancakes. Recommendation, advanced pancakes.
Plateau or Fourth & Church for small plates. Mange Tout for brunch/lunch. 64 degrees for fairly expensive tasting menu. Bincho Yakitori for amazing grilled Japanese food. Hard to get a table so book in advance. Planet India for insanely good curry.
Depends on what your after not sure on classic English cafe breakfasts. I shamefully sit on the more boujie side and would recommend Mange Tout(poached eggs), patisserie stellar breakfast sandwich at shelter hall, starfish coffee(full English), nowhere man for pancakes/bagels.
Morning coffee at Mange Tout on Trafalgar St. can’t remember how much it is… but it’s good value. A couple of quid I think.
