Great that you had a mostly excellent time. Might I add Bewilderbox to the escape room suggestions, (though Pier Pressure are also brilliant), and to book either of them in advance if possible. It's likely that last minute bookings don't leave staff time to organise etc, so if you're able to book a few weeks ahead you'd have a lot more joy, hope that helps.

GloBalls crazy golf at the marina is quite fun. There's also a nice new boardwalk that goes from Blackrock, just outside the marina, along towards town. Stop off for a nice drink at Bison Beach Bar on the way, doens't need to be alcohol! The Pier Pressure escape rooms are fun - forget the Christmas Market though, cancelled but you can go and look at all the cars that are parked in it's place if you like.

Pier Pressure has some amazing escape rooms. Dice Saloon has a great selection of boardgames in their library to play. Loading Bar is good if you prefer video games. How about an escape room? Pier Pressure is quality. That's where I went with my sister and brother-in-law the last time they visited. Or just walk around North Laine, you're bound to have fun there.
