Consistently comes up as one of the best Chinese takeaways in Hove/Brighton, with the chicken balls called 'out of this world' and the Singapore noodles and chow mein repeatedly praised. One reviewer notes the chow mein's meat isn't top quality, so ordering it veggie is recommended.
- Go for
- A reliable Chinese takeaway order at home
- Heads up
- Meat quality can be hit-or-miss in some dishes
What locals say
Well many are disappointing, especially curries these days though Spice Bros bucks that trend. It's a little far from me though so I rarely order from them, my go to is Singapore Kitchen, reliable Chinese takeaway food, otherwise it's Fatto a Mano and Meatliquor as my treats. I'd love to find a new place to be wowed by though.
Chicken balls from Singapore Kitchen is our special celebratory treat. So filling and sorting delicious! The rest of their menu is great too, particularly Singapore noodles, but the chicken balls are out of this world.
…find cheap train tickets to London and back on the Southern railway (another app you may want). Usually, it's trains from Hove to London Victoria. I often get a return for less than 20 pounds. I would recommend local museums, art galleries, and we have plenty of great cafés. The Singapore Kitchen in Hove is great for Chinese takeways or deliveries if you get lazy, and you have Cafe Elka as well as all of George Street around the corner.
Kudos in Brighton is quite good. Singapore Kitchen in Hove has gone a bit mental on the prices recently. They're not as good as they think they are!
