Widely called the best Neapolitan pizza in Brighton since rebranding from Nanninella, with people praising the incredible, light and chewy dough and rating it alongside Fatto a Mano for gluten-free bases. One long-time fan noted the old Nanninella used to be 'either perfect or dire' and hasn't tried it since the name change.

What locals say

Naninella/Ventisei is always great, as is 500. Used to love Fatto, but haven't had one for ages as they had got really got lazy last time i went and it was pretty shit. There used to be an absolutely lovely little one down the other end of kemptown as well - by the cabaret club, when I lived there. Think it's a goner now…

Ventisei (formally Nanninella) on Preston Street is the best Neapolitan pizza in Brighton. The dough is incredible.

Yeah, undefeated. I always see people claiming VIP is the best, but they've never tried a Nanninellas. They've changed their name now to Ventisei.

Best Pizzas are at Fatto a Mano or Ventisei - both have light, fluffy, chewy bases and are as good as almost anywhere in the world. I've never seen a gluten free calzone on my travels…
