Frequently named among Brighton's best sushi, with particular love for the katsu curry, ramen, and a £12 lunch deal that 'you get fed' on. Redditors also like the calm, quiet atmosphere with soft music, making it a good pick even for those who don't want a loud restaurant.

What locals say
To be fair I'm not tried many in Brighton BUT my current favourite is from Sushi Garden on Preston Street (They are listed simply as "Sushi" on Uber Eats, "Sushi Garden" on Deliveroo) Chicken is properly coated, different sizes, fried with just a good amount of salt. Not greasy! Not the frozen cutlet that others use, like you say. Has the usual chunks of veggies in the sauce! Worth a go :)
…I remember on their website. Been a while now - well over a year from what I remember! A shame as the rice bowls were super fresh and sushi was affordable! Heard good thinks about "Iro Sushi" that opened up last year, it's on my to-try list! For my Sushi fix these days - Sushi Garden is decent, if not a trip to Kokoro or the 9:30 mad dash to Itsu for the 50% off queue with the…
Sushi Garden - few rice and noodle options also for those who don’t do sushi Only Me - the owner is super sweet and there’s plenty of space. Does some nice teas. China Garden - it’s a classic Chinese place. Also does Dim Sum during the day. A bit on the pricier side but you’ll be good for a round table etc.
Sushi Garden. If you like sushi and bowls and seeing it prepared (if not sat with your back to the kitchen). Good selection of beers and wine and not that pricey at all. 32A Preston St, Brighton BN1 2HP Lunch, dinner. Lovely and always friendly people.
