The Sussex Peasant's Big Autumn Markets

Sussex farmers, growers, bakers and producers sell autumn food at three bigger-than-usual markets in Kemp Town, Hove and Preston Park.

The Sussex Peasant is holding three Big Autumn Markets in Brighton and Hove this month. It invites its farmers, growers, bakers and independent producers along, so you can buy from the people who grow, rear and make the food.

Expect seasonal vegetables and orchard fruit, pasture-raised meat, artisan bread, Sussex cheeses, flowers and preserves.

  • Friday 9 October, 9am to 4pm, in front of St George’s Church, St George’s Road, Kemp Town
  • Friday 16 October, 9am to 4pm, along the edge of St Ann’s Well Gardens, Nizells Avenue, Hove
  • Saturday 17 October, 9am to 3pm, by the velodrome in Preston Park

Entry is free.
