Pete Tong's Ibiza Classics and Sonny Fodera to headline On The Beach 2027
The seafront festival returns next July. Pre-sales start on 21 and 22 October, and general sale opens at 10am on Friday 23 October.
On The Beach, the music festival on Brighton’s seafront, has named its first two headliners for July 2027. Pete Tong opens it on Friday 9 July with his Ibiza Classics show, and Sonny Fodera plays on Saturday 24 July. Brighton and Hove News carried the announcement.
The 2027 festival is its seventh edition. The festival website says there will be 11 days of shows across July.
Ibiza Classics sets dance anthems for the Essential Orchestra, conducted by Tom Richards. Todd Terry is also on the bill that night, with more guests to be announced.
Sonny Fodera is a house DJ and producer known for hits including Asking. His latest album, can we do it all again?, reached the UK top 20, and all four dates of his March 2027 UK arena tour have sold out.
The festival won Best Location at this year’s Skiddle Awards. This summer it ran eight shows over two weekends, with 40 artists and Fatboy Slim, Madness, The Maccabees and Moby headlining. An impact report put the 2025 festival’s value to the city at over £8.3 million, with more than 59,000 people through the gates.
It is presented by Louder and JOY. Concerts. For 2027 the festival is working with Music Support, a charity for people in the UK music industry affected by mental health, substance use or addiction challenges.
The pre-sale for Sonny Fodera opens at 10am on Wednesday 21 October, and for Pete Tong’s Ibiza Classics at 10am on Thursday 22 October. General sale for both Brighton shows is at 10am on Friday 23 October. The announcement doesn’t give prices. Ticket information is at www.onthebeachbrighton.com.
