Comes up again and again as Brighton's best burger, a small North Road spot with a short menu, no sides, and vegan/gluten-free bun options. Nearly everyone rates it highly, though it's called 'a bit pricey' and one person was let down by a £17 order, so it's more treat than everyday meal.

Burger Brothers 100%, best burger I’ve ever had, everything was perfect; tho no sides available so it’s more of a treat than a meal. Bit pricey also. Grubbs is also great for the price and variety.

…of the way but brilliant Thai food - Blue Anchor pub on station Road in Portslade. Finally, let's also not dismiss Grubbs, its not fine dining but it blows the mind of every vegetarian I've taken there that they can order everything from the menu Not dine-in (afaik?), but Burger Brothers as well has great vegetarian burgers, and hand picked ingredients to make their burgers better than just generic veggie burgers. In terms of Sunday roasts, the Roundhill is I think Brighton's top rated roast, but also The Walrus and The Earth and Stars come in the top 10 and have great veggie options.

…tutto but looks crap/people say it's awful. The interiors and layouts are usually very nice, cocktails good, maybe people even like the "what people think good service is" service which feels like your waiters last job was in recruiting, but the food is definitely not good. Burger brothers - only been once but it gets praised so much that either it was a unlucky/bad day for them, or people genuinely have no idea what a good burger is. Had no flavour, was covered in insane amounts of cheese, beef seemed to be of average to poor quality, just an awful bland burger. I do need to try it…
