Widely rated as one of Brighton's best Indian restaurants, with the takeaway (especially the Grand Thali) singled out as 'on another level'. A few locals find it pricey or just average compared to cheaper curry houses, but most reviews are strongly positive.

Our city very much makes a lot of its living on tourism, so you’re definitely more than welcome here. We appreciate though that you don’t want to cause trouble! Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a great Greasy Spoon, especially after a night out. As for a curry, the Chilli Pickle in the Lanes is usually a safe bet.

Chilli Pickle does an indian takeaway that is on another level. Lays it out for you like a proper Indian meal, rather than just rice and a wet sauce with naan. If you get the Grand Thali, alongside the usual curry and rice, you get sides, dhal, sweets, pickles, thoran, lhassi, etc. They've won best indian…

All good ones, except The Chilli Pickle. Had to go there 3 times with work, and all I'd say about it is "meh". Overpriced food, poor service, and not a patch on what I'm used to, but then, I'm spoiled because I'm originally from Brum, the home of the Balti.
