Widely rated Brighton's best vegan fish and chips, with locals praising the crispy chips and convincing 'fish' batter right on the seafront near the i360. Portions are generous, though a few mention it's pricier than a typical chippy.

What locals say

…- Purezza (THE best pizza in the entire world - I usually only like thin pizza bases, but their light and puffy sourdough bases are incredible. Their courgetti with pesto and mac n cheese is amazing too), - The Roundhill (fully vegan pub, the best Sunday roast in Brighton), - No Catch (vegan fish & chips owned by Earthling Ed, plenty of vegan seafood options) Mid: - Vurger (very good vegan burgers and shakes, i recommend the hunny chicken burger), - Oowee (another vegan fast food place next to Vurger. My personal favourite, I bring my non-vegan friends there all the time, even though I…

…delish, you can eat in at either of these, but the interiors aren't the cosiest (but still fine). Bonsai Plant Kitchen is the best food ever, Japanese fusion-y small plates, you'll need to book and it's also pricey, but worth it. Purezza is lovely for lunch or dinner too. No Catch if very unique if you're down that way, Roundhill is my local and is always delicious, with roasts on weekends and some individual menus through the week (e.g. £10 pasta Wednesdays). Lots to find and I've just mentioned the vegan/veggie place, plenty more that aren't exclusive but have great options. Hope…

Best fine dining vegan: Bonsai Plant Kitchen. Just incredible range of inventive dishes that give you that 'goddamn' moment. Reliable restaurant to take others to: Food For Friends. Some great pasta dishes there. Quirky: No Catch. A vegan fish and chip place. Chips are great, 'fish' is remarkably good. Good vegan options: Moshimo sushi, Halisco Mexican, Shanxxi…

Few of my favourite vegan places: ##### Fast food + Happy Maki - sushi burritos and bowls. They have two locations but only the larger one in North Laine is open right now. - What the Pitta - doner kebabs, super delicious and easy - No Catch - vegan fish and chips owned by Earthling Ed, pretty new and really good. - Boho Gelato - omni gelato, always has some vegan options ##### Bars * Pipeline and Hope & Ruin are 100% vegan and have lots of live music if that’s your thing ##### Sit Down Restaurants * Terre a Terre or Food for Friends if you…
