Pizzaface

Brighton's favourite takeaway pizza, especially the fiery Wild

7.8/10

Local score

No. 49 of 300 places to eat on r/brighton, from 61 locals across 39 threads.

83% would send a mate. Some say it’s gone downhill lately.

Consistently the top pick for takeaway pizza in Brighton, with particular love for the "Wild" (ghost chilli - genuinely very hot) and the "Holy Cheeses". Redditors also rate the gluten-free bases and a good veggie menu, and note they'll happily handle huge bulk orders (one person got 50 pizzas delivered). Kemptown is the main branch, with a Worthing branch also mentioned.

…is amazing, their menu is almost all GF and they have a separate fryer and kitchen. Curry Leaf Cafe is also great, Moshka on London road is amazing for brunches and light lunches, if you’re feeling fancy then Riddle & Finns and The Coal Shed are really great with allergens. Pizzaface is really good for Italian, their GF pizza bases are amazing! We’ve found that most places tend to accommodate, it’s only a few that say nothing’s GF. But these places are the ones where we feel the safest in terms of cross contamination! Feel free to drop me a message about anything gluten-free related,…

It IS great, but there's lots of great pizza in Brighton. Pizza Pilgrims, Pizzaface, Pizza 500, Pizza Me, VIP, Fatto a Mano and Franco Manca are all real good, and I'm definitely missing a bunch. Still, sad to see the restaurant close down. I guess there's a lot of competition for good pizza, and a lot of competition on that street for places to eat.

Pizzaface has gone down hill in the last 2-3 years :( Some good suggestions in here though. Purezza is good if you're vegan.
