…small plates but the flavours are beautiful, me and my partner went and had a cocktail each and 6 plates for around £70. My roommate is Indian and has recommended Jamun to me a few times, they're also one of 4 restaurants that have just been voted in the good food guide. The Southern Belle also does amazing roasts on Sunday and they also do a mid up week deal - Taco Tuesday, 3 for 2 from 5pm-9pm. If none of that sounds your thing, there's a place called Pomoko right opposite Brighton Dome which is simple Chinese food, good portions and prices, always busy and serves Asian beer!
If you're on Facebook there's a Brighton Sunday Roast Club which has plenty of reviews with pictures. Otherwise, my personal favs are Signalman, Southern Belle and Shakespeare's Head. The Geese is also amazing, best gravy ever.
People are going to get sarky because you didn't use the search function, but kitchens change all the time so it's a legit question to keep asking. Preston Park Tavern is always good. Southern Belle gets a lot of good press, Cleveland Arms used to be the best hands down but disappointing the last time I went. I just booked for Daddy Longlegs this weekend. I'm sure if it's anything like the rest of their food, it will be excellent.
Went to the Southern Belle as it was ranked so highly for roasts. Not sure if I just went on an off day but it was very mediocre and the food was like warm. Was surprised it had such good reviews. I think you're right that things change very quickly so searching online sometimes doesn't provide the best…
