Albion Women play West Ham at the American Express Stadium on Saturday 24 October. The Women’s Super League game kicks off at 5.15pm.
They come home after a 3-2 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday. Albion were 3-0 down after 18 minutes against the unbeaten leaders, then Olivia Garcia and Caitlin Hayes scored to get them back in the game.
Head coach Arturo Ruiz took two things from it. “The resilience and the incredible game that we did from 3-0 until the end and keeping it alive to try and get a result,” he said. “And our fans were really loud and they were very important today.”
Of those first 18 minutes, he said: “They were not what we expected and what we wanted at all.”
The next home league game is Crystal Palace at Broadfield Stadium on Sunday 1 November, at 2pm. Albion are back at the Amex for Liverpool on Saturday 14 November, again at 5.15pm.
