Simon Amstell brings I Love It Here to Brighton Dome on 22 October

Tickets are still on sale for the comedian's new stand-up show, which plays the Concert Hall during the Dome's comedy festival. Seats cost £24 to £35.

Simon Amstell plays Brighton Dome Concert Hall on Thursday 22 October with his new stand-up show, I Love It Here. Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets are still on sale from the Dome. The Argus has also reported the date.

It comes to Brighton after five sold-out weeks in London, and the show’s website says it tours to just seven major cities.

It starts at a friend’s beach house just outside Los Angeles, where Amstell has finally found peace and is in love. Then an invitation arrives from the man who first stirred his teenage desire. The Dome’s listing calls what follows “a desperate, hilarious attempt at surrender, during a night of overwhelming stimulation”.

Amstell is also the comedian behind the Netflix special Set Free and the filmmaker behind Benjamin and Carnage.

The night is part of the Brighton Dome Comedy Festival, held with Komedia from Friday 16 to Sunday 25 October. Tickets cost £24, £26.50, £30 or £35. Brighton Dome and Brighton Festival members get £2 off full-price seats.
